Default New Racestar wheels

There was an old thread about Greg Weld not being out of business and still making wheels...

Here are the new ones on the right and old "WELD" wheels on the left...

No grinding of calipers for these to fit

I'm gonna have to order fronts now, the rears are really sweet

And the thread is still alive. You should post these pics in there. Many guys are wanting to see the wheels with tires on there. I would get mine on but i am way to busy with work.

I'm glad you started a new one, that one is a clusterfuck. Those wheels look really good, a lot better than the old Greg Weld design in my opinion, now get them on the car!

heres a pic of the rears on, they hit the outer edge of the calipers just a bit, just need to sand the highest spot of the caliper just a lil bit

Are those rears mounted on the stock rear/offset? I've got a Strange 12 bolt, narrowed 1 inch on each side. Looks good!

the rears are 15x10 with a 7.5 offset....I think they make them 6.5 too

These look great for the price! Billet Specailties charges 75 bucks more per rim for F-Body rears. That's over the original 230 price tag. The Race Stars will probably be my new rims sometime next year. Thanks for the info.

Looks good! You might be the first one to ever post pics of greg weld/racestar rears with pro star fronts! Looks kinda funny seeing it the other way around.

Guess i can live with just a "lil bit" of grinding. Thought they had all those issues takin car of though... guess i'll be selling the rear pro stars soon

I was all ready to buy some Race Stars.....but I just can't get over the fact that they're made in China, and that uni-lug deal scares the hell out of me as well. Seeing as how my car will trap around 130mph next year I just can't trust a uni-lug wheel to stay tight and hold up, so I went ahead and bought some Weld ProStars.

Could you explain this uni-lug deal?
