Default Is it possible to make a stock rim wider

Is it possible to make a stock ZR1 wider by machining or something? Its the 17x9 to clarify and I want to maybe get it to an 11 inch to fit 305's or 315's

Yes it's possible. I friend of mine had his 10spokes widened to 11in as well. I'll ask him for the company name.

original ZR1 wheels were 9.5" and 11" wide... i bet u could find a replica 11" wheel for less than what it would cost to widen it...

Really? Yeah if it wouldn't be much cheaper than just buying wider. ZR1 replicas I might as well gave an extra set of rears

Nvm just found it. about 200$ a wheel. Not worth it, I might as well get an extra set of wheels and tires for that!

i looked into this before also, itd be less money just to get some new wheels. and it takes a while to send off your wheels have them done and sent back so unless you have another car to drive or another set of wheels your looking at some down time for not having 2 wheels for a while...
