stock rims r 9", so a 275 is the right size... only u know what type of tire u want, all season? high performance? drag radial? road race? and how much u wanna spend on tires? big range of prices too...

Putting on firestone wide oval today as we speak. 274/40/r17 For the money i found these the best. I looked at goodyear f1 and michelins pilot sport.

BFG G-Force KDW NT 275/40/17 for corners.
NItto 555 Drag Radials 275/40/17 for street/track plus good tread life.

Just my opinion of course.

so 275/40/17s work best? i want a good summer tire. my car dos not see snow/ rain. and il go to the track 2-3 times a year.

Yup the 275/40/17's will fit/work the best. My dad bought some BFGoodrich KDW 2's which are a summer tire and they are working out really well for him just something to look into.

ya i got some stock ws6 wheels off someoe on here. i cant wait to they come.
i just got a red 98 trans am convertible so ill be putting the black zr1s on that and the ws6 wheels on my black one. i just hope the ws6 wheels fit the rears cuz i have 315s on the zr1s now.

how do the ws6 wheels look on your car in the rear??

They look fine to me. They don't sit flush with the fenders like your ZR1's with 315 probaly do though. You could always have them widened if your not happy with them.
