I needed something fast and cheap to put on the rear of the wifes firebird to get it thru inspection,,, and got them for almost nothing,,,, i know they are too narrow but will they work for now?? the calculator says they are for up to 8.5 rims how much more can i push it??

i have 245s on the front of my stock 17 wa6 wheels. i dont know about 225

yah i actually went to get 245 off this guy but he messed up the number and if i cant use them on the wifes car they will be back ups for my mr2.
Just wondering if anyone put them on before??

I had 235's on my fronts. They were a PITA to have them put on. I cant imagine 225's

on another car, I had 225/45's on an 8.5" wheel and they fit well.

I'd bet you could get them on a 9... especially if you have no intention of actually driving it like that for a long time

I have 245s on the front of my 17x9 Cobra wheels and they're stretched pretty good. Can't even imagine 225s.
