all of those tires are expensive and wouldn't be a wise choice for someone that isn't sponsored by one of those companies. I would try as many of the cheaper tires as you can and see what creates the most smoke yet still has good control. You could run a good tire on the front to have good control in the front, then run a cheaper tire in the rear just to burn off.

well what would be a cheaper tire? im not exactly sure what size i'll be using yet, but lets just say a 275/40/17. well all brands of tires in that size are just about the same price.

i found a sumitomo for $88, but theres no way it would be as good of tire as bfg or nitto for $35 more.

i havent done alot of searching though. im sure better deals/tires are out there, thats why i was asking. maybe i'll just look for used nitto's or sometihng like that. lol
thanks for the info guys

Kuhmo Ecsta TC's..... Those are the colored ones that produce the colored smoke. Not good for your rims. They stain. But look awesome.

In all seriousness though, I have no clue. The Ecstas cost too much and are plainly for show.

The SPT's are the ones that come in colored smoke. I have the non-color version of it and I think it'd make a pretty good drift tire. They don't have great grip but they are extremely controllable when spinning and sliding which I would think is exactly what you'd want in a cheap drift tire.

Kumho, nexens, federals All under $100. and good performance, great for drifting. Sumitomos would be good also since they dont hook up for crap!! lol.
