yes, nitto has 555's in that size. im running some, they are ok
they are a great all-around tire, but lack traction off the line
i gave $130 a piece

personally i would look into there NEW nt05's and others

Yes, the 275/40/17's are out there and can be had for a pretty modest price. Slap a set of the 555R's on the rear and you'll be happy you did the first time you slam it off the line!

Discount Tire Direct has alot of them. I got a better deal from onlinetires.com. $620 shipped for 4 NT555s. 2 275/40s up front and 2 315/35s for the rear.

^^^Man that is a good price for sure. At this point i'm not worried about killer traction.
I'm just looking to replace my worn out stock F1's. I used to really like the BFG Comp T/A's. When i sold my WS6 i had 4 new Falken tires which gave my WS6 much better turn in responds than the F1's. The tread pattern looked very close to the F1's but they must have had a better compound. So basically i'm just looking for replacement tires that doesn't sacrifice any handling. So the Nitto's came to mind. But if anyone out there knows which tires are good to go with please let me know. Thanks all.
