Default rim size question

how would a 15x12 with a 6" backspace and -13mm offset work on our fbodies?

rubbing issues?
sticking out too far?

I'm not positive but that wheel would stick out at least a couple inches.

You would need about a 3.5" backspacing for a rim that wide. A 10" wide rim uses a 5.5" so that rim will stick out pretty far

bigj the smaller the backspace number the farther the wheels go to the outside of the car. A 3.5" backspace would move the wheel/tire outside 2.5" compared to a 6" backspace. to tuck the wheel inside the backspace number needs to get larger not smaller. A 6" backspace on a 12" rim would have 6" of wheel to the outside, would definately stick out.

From my measurements even at 8.5" backspace it would still stick out and 9.5 is a lot closer to optimal. Then you would still likely have to have minitubs and offset lca's.
