Default How Low with 325/50/15?

How low can you go with the 325 tire and a stock width rear?

Is your wheel in the stock location w/ the rear narrowed?
How much space do you have between tire and upper fender when the tire is down? Meaning when the car squats will the tire be up in the fender or will it be into the tire. Right now with the slicks theres not much if any. But the slicks sidewall goes in at the top of the tire to help. If that makes since I really want to run these but I dont know if I can get it to hook up.

Last time I ran a radial was about two years ago. At the big end of the track I dont like how the car likes to skate around, well the track isnt that bad its worse on the street and wanting to give it a whirl with the radials again. But not having the best boost controller is going to cause havoc on the streets, thats why im trying to go with the biggest tire i can fit without tubbing it. If I did that I would put a 315/60

Im pretty sure my wheel sets in about half an inch over stock. With 2 people in the back Iv NEVER heard it rub. Now I did beat the **** out of the car and cut the bump stops..then took a grinder and cleaned it up really nice and then undercoated it. It looks nice no hack job. Id like to get under there and smooth it more just because I know its not perfect. Im in Kansas right now or Id go take some pictures and messure it up for you. I ran a Bias ply for about a month and went back to a raidal. I know I dont cut as good as 60s and still need lots of practice but I like to drive mine too much and like you said its too washy.

Holy ****... lol... Yeah i'm running 325/50/15 M/T ET Streets on mine to an it's got a nasty rake so i'm trying to find ways to lower the center of gravity for the unsprung weight.

Not my car but lots of people do, I also did this and havent noticed any rougher ride or the rear hitting hard. The car isnt drove daily so that might be why and little things dont get to me much.

Screw it tho, guess im sticking with slicks for now or I might try a smaller radial again once I get a better boost controller.

I've got BMR springs in the back and AFCO coilovers in the front. The front is raised up alittle more right now. Rear is narrowed 1 inch each side and I've still got the bumpstops. Didn't have to BFH much to get them to fit. Still trying to get everything set to help with the launching.

I'm with Mike, althugh I can't cite the specific drop, as I've monkeyed with it a bunch over the years- Stock width rear, retained (yet trimmed) bumpstops, 7.5" BS, and rolled (to the point of nonexistance) fenders. Sits low enough I don't have to adjust it when swapping from 325/50s to 315/35s.

Nice looking cars!! My problem with the 325's is my tire is tucked right now and then I would have to raise it back up with some different springs and so on. Not a big deal but still more sh-t to add to the poor mans list.
