Finally able to mount up my 335/30R18's...PICS!!!
I finally found some time at the shop to get these mounted up. I will tell you that these are a pain in the *** to mount even with a $25,000 tire machine BUT I was able to do it without any damage to the rims.
My setup is 17/18 C5 DD rims with 275/40R17 Falken rt's in the front and 335/30R18 Pirelli PZero's in the rear.
I am lowered on Eibach Pro springs with the rear isolator removed. I was worried about going with a smaller sidewall in the rear but it is really hard to tell the difference.
I am not using a spacer and I had to beat the living **** out of the inner quarters and now the only time I rub is if I take a steep incline at an angle.
Heres some pics I am very happy with this setup now because I really missed my old 315/35R17 GSD3's that ran just as wide.
Thoughts?

Thanks guys and spdygon I will try to get ya some pictures next time the rims come off.
The tires were only difficult to mount because I care about my rims, if you ever used a tire machine that has 3 different arms to push the bead down far enough to mount as it is spinning you would understand lol.
Now my 295/40R18 Falken's I pulled off were soft as hell and had a big sidewall so removing and remounting them is a piece of cake.

I won these tires on Ebay for dirt cheap. If I could get a 315/35 I would have BUT I don't have $600 to spend right now.
Nittos don't do it for me simply because the tire would appear narrower than the 295's I pulled off.
Obviously this isn't a performance setup and I would never go auto x'ing with these and when I want to grip at the track I have extra tires for doing so, **** I can blow these tires off at 60 so IT IS mainly for looks!

Need some side pics so we can actually see the side of the car! Looks great though dude... makes me feel awesome about buying my C5 DD's. I got 17's though, can't wait to get em on! My car's red, black hardtop.
