What will this tire hold exactly because im debating on buying tires for the stock 17's on my TA or going to a 15in wheel. The car is an auto with full bolt ons, cam, 4.30 gears, 4k stall and at about 3200 lbs. Id like some personal experiences and opinions. Thanks in advance.

I have a set ready for my car, Just waiting for some sun to dry up around out track so we can go racing. I have about 500rwhp with a 2800rpm stall.
Will let you know how I go.

I have this tire on my ws6 rims- 98 formula 490 rwhp 465 rwtq. I ran a 12.44 at 115 at LVMS last weekend- spun through third gear (auto). I barely hit the gas and the tires would break traction. I heated them up too, no help- ran 18 psi in them btw. My 60 foot was a sorry 2.286 made up for it on the high end. also running 3.23 gears in stock 10 bolt until my S60 gets installed next week. to be honest- save your $400. Not impressed with these tires unless you are running stock, but with your gears, you are not going to hook. I am ordering prostars and probably the 27" QTPs, may have to go with 28s but dont want to hack my car too much!!

finally got out to use them, with plenty of heat soak (air temps of 80deg C)
I realled of 4runs of 11.9s@114mph. I rekon I was only pushing 400hp @ the wheels due to the air temps.
Cheers Ian
