Default 315/35-18 tires -- where to get them?

So I've been doing some tire shopping for my 18x10.5" rear wheels I'll be getting from OE Wheels. I've been having a really hard time finding 315s in anything that's not a drag radial, and even so, I haven't been finding any with a 35 sidewall (the car will see mostly street use, so I don't really want to rock drag radials). What brands should I be looking for, and what websites should I be searching?

Why not go with 30 sidewall?

what size do you guys with 18x10.5 rear usually go with? I was under the impression that 315s with 35 sidewalls was typical for that size rim.

I'm also confused, seem some people run a 30 and some people run a 35. Why the difference?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...30&diameter=18 for 315/30/18

usually when you go that wide the tire is going to have to be a 30 or smaller if you want a street tire. i would do a google search and go from there. Good luck

yeah, the more I look into it the more I'm thinking that's the way I'm going to go. Will I have clearance/rubbing issues with 295s and 35 sidewall? Rear end is stock springs with heater hose mod.

so what discount tire websites should I be checking for my tires? I live in the middle of nowhere, so I probably won't be able to get the tires I want from a local distributor.

For some people tire height is a gearing advantage...

When you take a picture from an angle, there will be less of the wheel gap visible. Let's see a full side on shot with both wheels in the picture.

I placed an order for some Kumho Ecstas XS in 315/30/18 and they are on back order for a long *** time. I'm running an 11" wheel and need some meat for the street, but I'm considering going with a 295 tire now.

A 295 would be perfect for your rim.

I had those flakens. I hated them. Op, how much power do you make? I've personally never ran a drag radial cause I'm stupid, but if your going to get a good size tire, and spend all that money, you might as well make sure your not going to blow the tire off all the time. Trust me. Do either a 305/35 or 315/30 on a 10.5. I used to run a 315/30 on my 10.5s

I don't make nearly enough power for that to be an issue. I've just got an LT1 with mods in sig, and I plan on doing intake/lifters this summer. that with a tune might get me to 300whp. So nothing earth-shattering by any stretch.

Have you considered a 305/35/18? That's what I did.
