Default Plastidip help chrome in winter?

So i recently bought a set of Chrome ZR1 wheels for my 02 SS. I ended up putting them on all seasons as i drive this car year round, but not so much in the winter. Would putting some plastidip on them for the winter time only help the chrome. I know chrome isnt the best wheel choice for winter, but its really my only choice at the moment. Anyone ever tried this.

Never tried it, but Im sure sealing the wheel from salt and water exposure would only help it resist corrosion and prolong the life of the chrome.

i'd imagine it'll help. just make sure you spray the font AND back of the spokes, etc. IDK about the ZR1 wheels, but my chrome 35th Aniv wheels were only "face plated" and when they started to chip and corrode, it started from the edge of the spokes.

nice point, all the chrome 10 spokes start there too, usually barrel, then creeps into corners on the face, and all hell breaks loose. chrome on those sucks though.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I know they do have a clear finish but i would like to change the look up a bit. Thinking black and then adding the new gloss product on top which will make them look alittle more glossy.

There you go. Just select color and pick clear. From what i have read it is more of a matte clear finished though.
