Default Wheels for my G8 GT

Im completely lost when it comes to deciding on a pair of wheels for my car. I have a liquid red G8 GT. I have an opportunity for the a set of 18" HRE 540s for cheap ($1000 cheap) and im just on the fence as to if i will like having 18's or if i want to go with something larger like 20" TSW Nurburgrings. Im almost positive i want black wheels to go along with the paint scheme im working on. I havent found much in terms of the HREs

Since nobody reads, this is what it will look like with the TSWs **not my car**

Believe it or not Camaro 20 inch stockers look pretty bad *** on G8's.

And wheels with tires are cheap.

but their so heavy, that was one of my options also. I mostly was sticking with the 18" HREs just because my car has brand new tires (18") on it so thats alot of money saved

go with the 18's , they will be better for handling , ride and keep your hp the same , you will lose power with the 20s .

HRE is a very expensive rim, what would the cost of a set of 4 be without tires versus a set of 4 TSW's with tires? Me personally, I think the TSW wheels look better for the G8, but I am also not a fan of rivets...

I'm more of a fan of the HREs. Plus at $1k for a set WITH tires is beyond a steal.

They both look good, but he HRE's look better i think. I wouldn't go black. Too played out now. I think the gunmetal would be sick

I think the 18s will look good and the car will respond a little better with the smaller wheels. As long as they arnt curbrashed up it sounds like its a steal

the 5th gen wheels look amazing but the ride gets harsher and they are heavy. I had to postpone going to look at the HREs until next week but hopefully they are still around come Monday.

^I wouldnt put HREs on a daily. Polished lip, possibility of curb rash. Sounds like a bad idea no matter what the price is.
