Looks killer.. What sizes , spacing and tires you running.. I'm leaning heavy on the billet specialties cause of cost vs rts.. I like the the look of the rts's say slightly better but cost pulls me back to the billets..

Is that a bias ply rear slick with a radial front? If it is that is a really bad idea.

If they are matched radial radial, or bias ply bias ply, never mind.

A number of people have had issues with that being very unstable.

the fronts are 25.5, rears are 26.5. 1.5 back spacing in the front, 7.5 in the rear

they are radial 165/80/15s and 26x11.5x15 Hoosier quick time pros. it drives awesome, quick time pros are an awesome tire at the track and at 30psi driving down the highway its not very noticable theyre on the car.

no grinding to the fronts. the fins on top of my rears were already ground from when i had racestars. I recommend removing those. takes less than 10 min per side

I know the QTPs are great tries, I had them myself, but you should not mix them with radials on the front. Do your self a favor and buy a set of bias ply fronts for it. Saving a few hundred dollars could destroy your nice car.

There is a reason real racers never do this.

To each there own, but it is very dangerous. Google it.

I respect your concern but this isnt my first time with bias plys. Ive daily driven the same setup on a different car i used to own, i also daily drove this car on 26x11.5x17 et streets for a few thousand miles this summer. It drives about as good as you can ask for a car on 15x4s and 26" dot slicks. If you want to pull the safety card then these tires shouldnt even see the road.

Not busting your chops on the QTPs, as mentioned I think they are a great tire, but not sure if you knew you can buy a real DOT Bias Ply front runners from MT or M&H. It is just safer IMO and 99.9% of the racing world. I would hate to see you wreck your car or someone else's for that matter. That would just suck.

So you mix the tire types because you are being cheap or because you think it is actually better? Just curious on your justification.
