Default Stock ZR1 wheels from SS

I'm looking to purchase a set of chrome ZR1 wheels and I'm having trouble making out their authenticity. I have a set of painted ZR1's from a 2000 SS and they have a GM stamp. But these chrome ones I'm looking at do not. I believe they may have have came off of a 1997 SS originally. Would they still have a GM stamp? I thought SLP made the wheels until 1998 but wasn't sure. The only markings that I have been told about (haven't seen wheels in person yet, waiting on the seller to sent me more info) are AM 2 towards the hub area and 9592880 on of the spokes. Any help would be appreciated.

If it's any help my '00 SS had OEM chrome ZR1's and there was no GM stamp to be found on them. Not sure why not because I've seen the alloy ZR1's and chrome/alloy 10 spokes with the stamp

That is odd. Does anyone have any pics of the front and backside of OEM chrome ZR1's?

The number 9592880 is the GM part number. I know this because when I was searching for my ZR1's I had a dealer look up the number. Mine don't have the GM stamp and most others in chrome that I've seen don't have it either. If you have that number on the backside, they are originals. Should also be stamped "17X9" and "50" on the spoke, the repro wheels are 17x9.5.

Thanks for the info. I found a 2000 SS here in town with the chrome ZR1's and they also do NOT have the GM stamping. I wasn't able to see the backside though to check for numbers.

Yep i can confirm the above statements. My ZR1's are not original to my car but they are factory SLP zr1's. THey have the 17x9 stamp on the back but no GM stamp.

Depending on condition a set of 4 (rims only) usually will get 300-500

A mint set with no curb rash will be on the upper end of that..
