adding 2" to a rim. what would my new offset be

Default adding 2" to a rim. what would my new offset be

19x8.5 +35 is the starting size...

can anyone help?

your offset would be +60.4mm

i dont think thats how it works tho

this is what i calculated adding to the back of the rim

original
19x8.5 +35mm
add 1.5" makes it a +54mm
add 2" makes it a +60mm

can anyone confirm my calc or DietCoke's?

I could be wrong, but you won't change the offset of your wheels by widening it from the backside. Now your offset WILL change if you add a spacer to your hub.

RAptor WS6 has it right at ~60.4 mm, I forgot to go from the new wheel center and just added 2" of straight offset, which isnt correct.

It depends on where you add the 2 inches. If it is outboard of the bolt circle/mating surface, your offset will drop. If it's inboard, then it will rise (like shown above).
