Default 5th Gen to a 4th Gen conversion. Pics inside

So what do you guys think? It was a little bit of a pain to do it right but I think it's a world of difference.

if you guys want a how to I don't mind writing it up. I took tons of pics because when I researched it I couldn't find a thread that covered it all.

If you like it that's all that matters.

Looks good, nice to see something a little different. Most people on here run 17 or 18's but I personally think 17's are too small, I just put19's on all around and I love the look!

I would be one of those people. 19s are too big IMO; 18" is as big as I would ever consider but I really prefer 17s. Just personal preference. Is there a center cap that will fit these wheels other than the Chevy bowtie version?

Having said that....

I agree. I only offer my opinion because the initial post welcomed input.

I LOVE these wheels. They actually don't look that great on the Camaro since the 20's fill up their wheel wells so much better. However they look great on smaller cars. I'm surprised I haven't seen them more. I've seen one GTO with them, but they would be great on G8's and etc.

The car looks great OP!

Hmm I think it looks damn good. I will be picking up a set of 19's to replace my current set of 17's soon.

Probably because they are right.

Also, wouldn't this be a 4th gen to 5th gen conversion?

When I clicked on the link I was expecting someone making a 5th gen Camaro look like a 4th gen catfish.

Always one in the group

I converted 5th gen rims to fit a 4th gen vehicle so , It's a 5th gen to 4th gen conversion. And why would you be looking for a total car conversion in the wheels and tires section?

This style wont be everyone's cup of tea, no doubt about it. I like it and I posted to let everyone see what these rims actually look like on a car. At the end of the day it's up to you what you like, we all get that, but when I was doing research on this I found very little info and pics out there.

I'll do a write up on it with pics if I can later today and the info will be there for people to reference and help them come to their own conclusion.

I think they looks great! Now you just need some big brakes to fill them up.

I would love these wheels on a 4th gen camaro.

Ive seen these on a convertible trans am and they look amazing, but not enough info on what exactly he did to get them on there.
