Destroyed my new tire.

Destroyed my new tire.
Just put on a set of Fikse on the car, 10.5X 17 on the rear with 315x35 Goodyear tires. I didn't rolled the fenders since I have air bags in the back and even aggressive cornering I had no rubbing. All was good until I backed out of the driveway. The rear pushed up and the inside lip of the fender caught the tire and sliced into the tread. Pretty much destroyed a new tire. An expensive lesson.

Did the same thing to mine but after hitting a big bump and bottoming out. Took a nice chunk out, luckily it didn't ruin the tire so bad that I had to scrap it. I honestly don't know how people that are lowered with 315s claim they haven't rolled their fenders and haven't had any problems.

Hell mine is not even lowered and it still rubs the inner fenderwell on certain turns. Has a lot to do with what 315 you are running on those rims. I gave BFG dr's and they are one of the widest so it's no surprise lol

I've run a bunch of different tires... Sumitomos, Nitto drag radials, a couple different Nitto street tires, and Mickey Thompson drag radials... my current Nitto Motivos are the widest tires I've had by far and they still only seem to be rubbing on the inside of the quarters not on the outside.
