Hey guys. I am going to place an order for some 505A CCW wheels for my 2002 trans am. What size do you guys recommend? CCW recommended 18x10 for the front and 18X11 for the rear. That size really wide to me for the front? I was thinking 9 or 9.5 wide for the front. Also was going to put a 315 nitto NT05R on the rear but they said it will require ALOT of massaging. Is that true? Or should i go with a size smaller tire in the rear to be safe.

Yeah that's a pretty beefy sidewall on a 18x11 wheel. Even with a 17x11 wheel and a 315/35/17 NT05R I get a little rubbing occasionally on a hard turn, and that's with a adjustable panhard bar a little BFH to the inner fender well

Are you dead set on the 505a's? I had them (19x10 and 20x11) and they were nice, but I know you're planning on a Procharged setup, so was curious why you want to go the 18" route. Not sure if you've looked at the LM series of CCW wheels, or the "D" series wheels. I really like the D240's. They come in 17" and 18".

Different wheels, but I run 18x9.5 in the front with a 265/35/18 and an 18x11 rear with a 315/30/18. Fully adjustable suspension of course, but only required minor massaging. You do it once and never look back. My fenders are not rolled and the car doesn't rub at all.
If you have welds for the track, why do you want such a tall sidewall?
