Probably depends on the wheel dia.

I have 295-35-18's on 10" rims. The min. recommended with is 10.5" for a 295-18 but it still looks and handles fine. I wouldn't put the same tire on an 9.5" rim though.

If you're talking about a 295 on a 16" or 17" rim, then it'd probably be fine. The taller the side wall, the better it will fit.

You can.... but I would not reccomend it for hazardous reasons. I was going to do that, but opted for 285's instead.

Yes you can. I'm running a 295/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport on Y2K 18x9.5 wheels in the back. 275/35/18 Kumho's in the front.

I test their limits on a daily basis. No problems FOR ME. No bulge, no cupping in the middle. I usually run 36psi front 34psi back.

I wouldn't run any wider in the front. I don't really see the point unless there's some benefit with RR or AutoX. Too much work for the power steering pump, and my arms when parking in tight places.

I could also see oversized tires being more of a hazard when used as your directional steering tires vs the back tires due to more lateral forces being applied in turns.

Just because you can make it fit, doesn't make it right . . .

295/35ZR18 requires a 10" wide wheel minimum . . .

well i don't like the idea of it not being safe so I will go with a different wheel so I can still use the 295 tire. Thanks for the help.
