16's and 17's ok?
I have a set of 16" zr1's currently on my car, and I am wondering if I can purchase a pair of 17x11" zr1's to put on the back with some 315's. Will this cause problems? I wouldn't be running these all the time, but its a good hour to the closest track so I would be driving on them. Thanks for any replys. Alex

I think it would be ok. With the tire calculator it shows an over all diameter difference of my 16 inch tire being 25.65 and the 17 inch being 25.68 thats only .03 difference, and -.95 revolutions per mile difference. Would one revolution per mile really make that much difference? I have ran 245 and 255 on the back with nothing wrong. Any opinions?

Yeah your tires would be alright in this process but lets talk about your ABS. Basicially since your rear wheel is moving/spinning faster than your front wheel when you hit your breaks only your rear breaks would actually be slowing your down. Get my drift or shall I explain it more technicially?
