Not Impressed with my ET Streets
Just put my ET streets on and went to the track. I did pretty good burnouts with them and heated them up a lot. Is there any reason that I should not be hooking with these?
I ran a better 6' foot on my BFGs !!!
Any methods of making them stick please let me know, they are practically slicks and are wider and softer than my BFGs... maybe it was the weather?

You must have too much air pressure,or a poorly prepped track. I put 13psi in mine did a good burnout gave it about 5500RPM side steped the clutch and got NO spinning and Broke my 12 bolt.

Well last Thursday, although the track was shitty at best, I was able to hook with ET's (26x11.5x15) for a 1.56 60' while a lot of people had problems, one procharged Stang hit the wall with Nittos, he couldn't hook in first or second then lost it.
Tire pressure is important, and also preload on your rear. A too stiff rear suspension will make the ET's unhook, since they have stiffer side walls.

I broke my Mosor 12 bolt spiders on a 315/35/17 tire with a m6 car. Also looking for track tires 275/50/15 (M/T DR's, M/T ET Street or m&h cheater slicks). What do you recommend will hook best and be consistent? I would like to be able to drive to the track on them if posible

My tires also float really badly, it is horrible for the highway and backroads (to and from the track) and it even floats going down the track. I was running them on 17psi or so... I guess i need a longer burnout.
