Default New Wheels

I recently changed wheels, although, not by much. Changed from Chrome Z06 replicas to Gunmetal Z06 Replicas in 17x9.5.

Here is a before pic:

Here is after.........(also added some clear corners)

I just got tired of the chrome. It took me a few days to get used to the new look, but I like the new setup better. I think the chrome was a "showcar" look and the gunmetal is more of a "sporty" look, IMO.

I bought these from DTD. They are listed as "silver" on both the website and the box that they came in, but are in fact, gunmetal. Now, I just need to get the chrome wheels cleaned up so I can sell them.

So, what does everyone think?

I'd like to know about the price on the Chrome ones as well. The Gunmetal is more serious and understated so I understand the switch. I'm not sure if I'll ever change the wheel on the Z06...

But the vert is my "show car" so I'd like to have some chrome rims on it

The gunmetals look good. Nice switch. I'm about to get away from chrome too, it's not for me. $960 shipped for the wheels/tires in sig if anyone's interested.

Btw, msbz: those look like American Racing TTII's to me.

5POINT7- Yeah, just got tired of the chrome and wanted a different look, but I like the Z06 style wheel.

msbz_ls1- Nah, wasn't a mean response. The angle of the top pic (chrome Z06 wheels) could have been better to illustrate the difference between it and the gumetal Z06 wheels (rest of the pics). I have more pics of the chrome at the link in my sig.

adamp and 93TAWicked1- I still need to clean the wheels up (pretty dirty from some rain days we had) and inspect them for any flaws. I do know that one wheel has a slight curb rash on it (have to get pretty close to the wheel to see it) and at least two wheels have a pinhead size "scar" or two from rock dings which might polish out, I dunno. Anyway, I will come up with a price after I look at them. I want to make sure that whoever buys them knows about any and every flaw before they buy.....that is how I would want to be treated. Anyway, if you want to discuss further or if you have an offer in mind....feel free to send me a PM.

To everyone else, thanks for the replies.

Plus, the thing w/ gunmetal is if you ever get lazy, you could go a couple of weeks w/o washing them b/c they're already brake dust color.
