Need spacers to fit Z06 wheels what do you recommend?
Anyone have an idea?
Is using a spacer and arp 2.5" studs ok even though the spacer doesn't engage the hub?
My car is lowered with a prokit will using spring spacers solve my problem?
It's rubbing the inner fender well when I turn at a intersection that has a incline or dip.
The 18x10.5 Zo6 wheels with a 58mm offset on the rear is where I'm having the problem.

Well, you either have to perform the BFH mod, as many have talked about, or run a 1/2" spacer. On the scaere I'd reccomend finind a quality hub and wheel centric spacer. The BFH mod, the the Big Freaking Hammer to the inner wheel well where you see the rub marks . . .

Not meaning to go off-topic, but Xsta I've noticed that you really know your stuff when it comes to widths/offsets. I know it will fit, but do you think a 18x10.5 z06 with a 56MM will look decent on the back of a TA. I don't really want it to stick in too far, but I know it's going to stick in some. I just hate the look of my 16x8's because they stick in WAY too far.

I was able to get my stock z06 rims to fit in the back with doing only the BFH mod and removing bumpstops. I had to pound it pretty hard but it worked. I think the stock offset is 56mm and it looks pretty good.

My car isn't lowered, but I've got the 18x10.5 Z06's with the +58 offset, and I'm using a 5/16th spacer, and it worked out perfectly. I also have the ARP studs...
I don't really know how much the situation would be altered by the fact that your car is lowered, though...

Stock offset for the Vette 10.5" wheel is 58 mm. If you can get a 56 mm or I have seen 53 mm (but VERY hard to find) fit nicer. The 105" with a56 mm offset will be a major improment over hte stock 16" wheel. But the neat thing is you can alwas add a spacer for more looks.

Well I used some small wheel washers and they are 2mm they moved it out a little, but I still get rubbing over bumps going at higher speeds and when I turn on inclines.
Should I go get ten more washers and move it out 2 more milimeters, or get some spring spacers and lift the car up a little?
