Default Nitto 555r's in rain

Anyone have experience with daily driving these tires in a rainy area? I'm in southern louisiana and needless to say the roads are wet often, how are these tires?

I will also be running a 3500/2.5str on them, so if I had them and tried to baby the accel would I be ok?

Better than F1's IMO...much better...providing there's tread on them.

you should be fine as long as you don't hit huge puddles. i drove to the track and back on 275/50/15 MT drag radials in the rain and it was no problem. but they were brand new with full tread, so that had something to do with it too.
