let the flaming begin...lol no you can make it work, but you have to have the right looking wheels. get some CCWs, no big baller flowers or anything like that or you will be shot by fellow F-body owners

PSYKOZ28 I want 20's cause hardly anybody has them. Plus want to make my car more of show than performance. I like going fast but love drawing heads. I have a cam and alot of other performance parts that are still going in the car. So performance is like (as long as I am in the high 11 range) I will be fine on 20's. Dont you think.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but if I see an F-body on 20s, I don't think "hey those huge wheels make it look great!" I think "Wow, those wheels are far too big for that car and make it look hideous. Should've stuck with 18s and lowered it down to compliment them or bought an Escalade if you wanted huge wheels".
If you put some nice wheels on an F-body in 18s and keep it simple and clean, that's what will get attention. Not massive wheels that will look like clown shoes on a 4-year old. Just my opinion.
And yes, I have seen 20s on F-bodies. A guy I went to high school with drives a Camaro with chrome 20s and it looks terrible in my opinion.
But yes, it will work. Might have to smash in the wheel wells a bit, but it can be done.

as the saying goes.....beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
some enthusiasts like the 19's or 20's on a f-body, and some don't.
it is your ride, build it how "you" want it.
but i will agree on one thing, you have to use a "tastefully" built wheel if you are gonna go big.
here are a few sites for ya.

www.zeforged.com
www.ccwheel.com <------ best bang for the buck !

Go to special edition vehicles theres a thread called "Here it's finally done." You'll see an 02' Firehawk with a 20", 19" wheel combo that really looks cool. It's your ride and if you want 20's then get what you want.... After you do, and if it looks good then eveyone will change their mind...

Don't forget to upgrade those brakes too. Lot's of guys that go over 18's regardless of the vehicle are really pushing it on stock brakes. The rotational mass and extra weight could lead to depressing the brakes (especially in an emergency) and nothing happening. Not to mention the changes in your speedo, gearing, and mileage. With a 20" wheel there is no way you could keep even close to a stock height wheel and tire combo. Just food for thought because my 18's with 265 35's are pushing it.
