Default I did a search... and I still have questions on ARP Studs, and lug nuts

I bought some Draglites and I am using the 5/16 spacer in front, and I bought some Weld 12mm x 1.5 1.38 in lenght shank style closed end lug nuts. The ones I was told would work with stock studs. They will not reach the studs at all. Even after removing the washer they would reach. I measured the lug nuts, and they are correct, and the spacer is the correct size as well.

I am fed up with trying to it to work so I am going to get some ARP 2.5 wheel studs for the front. My question is, will these closed end lug nuts work? Weld racing part # 601-1412

My street tires are on Fikses and I want to know if theres a closed end lug nut that will work with the longer studs.

I also looked on this site http://www.freewebs.com/casper9t9/dragwheelinfo.htm and it doesn't answer my questions.

If you have any answers please include part numbers if possible so if anyone else does a search it will make it that much easier for them.

The welds should fit. You should get some open end McGard lugs. They are 12x1.5 2.25" and I think the part number is 61007. I paid like $16 freaking bucks for a pack of 4.

So your telling me to use the McGard Lug nuts with my Fikse in a 2.25"??

I have Weld shank lugs in a 12mm x 1.5 in a 1.38" and with the 2.5" ARP studs I would think I should be fine to run the skinnies. Am I wrong?

My concern is finding a lug nut that is closed end, that will fit on the 2.5 ARP studs, and that will look good when I mount my Fikses back on. Is this possible?
