what tire size for 18x9.5 rims
I have a 2000 ws6 and putting on 18x9.5 rims. It has stock ride height. What size tires should I put on. I am thinking 285/35/18. Please let me know what you think.

Those should be fine...i'm running the 285/35 on my 18x10.5's and they fit great. I think the 285 might be as wide as you can go (without bulging) on 9.5's, but someone else can confirm that?

if you are running 18x9.5 on all 4 corners,i would suggest going 275/40/18 rear and 275/35 /18 front.or 285/35/18 rear and 275/35/18 front.with these setups the rear will be just a little taller than the front and, imo,it looks way better than running the same size front and rear.

if you can get a 18x10.5 for the rear, you can run 295/35/18 tires with the 275/35/18 in front and that would be a very nice combo.just remember that with staggered tires you cannot rotate your tires.if thats important to you then stay with the same size tires.but for a great look, have a combo where the rears are just a little taller.
with the 18x10.5 you will need somewhere between a 7 1/4"-7 3/4" backspace for it to fit right.more than 7 3/4 will rub the inner fender wall and less than 7 1/4 you will rub the outer fender lip.

Thanks guys for the info. I now have a better game plan of what I want to do. Does anyone know where I can get ZR-1 wheels with black spokes. I have seen everything but that. They make them OEM but they are expensive.
