Default Telstar vs Prostar weight

I was wondering if anyone knew which was lighter, the Prostar or the Telstar. Thanks in advance.

I believe the Prostars are, but that's just going by what I've heard.

Telstar 15x4 = 13 lbs
Prostar 15x3.5 = 10 lbs

Telstar 15x8 = 17 lbs
Prostar 15x8 = 13 lbs

Hope that helps!

Will either Telstar or Prostar clear the 12" rotors on a 2002 rear end?

No grinding is required. The only ones that dont are the Convo Pro's. But I have heard people say you even have to do a little grinding for thoose. Here is how much grinding you will have to do with the Telstars. The fronts you dont have to grind much. But the backs take ALOT of grinding. FYI I found all this info by doing a search "grinding for telstars".

Thanks for the tip, I've got a set of 15" DRs in my garage I was hoping to use on
the new car. But there is no way I am grinding down my brakes just to make em fit.
Not for weekend drag rims anyhow.

Just get some used stock rims and put the DR's on them. I use the Telstars on the weekends I go to the raceway. I have ZR1's for normal use on the street. I didnt mind grinding to get the Telstars to fit.
