Deepest Deep That Can Be Deeped
I am one of those guys that loves the looks of a deep-dish wheel tucked under a car with wide-*** tires. Once I get some spare cash, I would really like to get the deepest dish possible on the rear of my SS without having to tub out the rear or get a wide body kit ( ) I wouldn't really mind rolling the fenders or banging in the inner fenders that much, but I don't want to do anything drastic. Right now, the wallpaper on my computer is the 2000 ZL1 Camaro Concept as seen here. That would be fa-reakin' amazing to acheive something like that. What do y'all think?

You can run aftermarket 18x12s Z06s with a 335/30. There's a thread floating around with pics and what will be required to fit them. However those rims aren't deep dished. TT2s don't have much of a lip on them.

Check out iForged. Last i checked on some aeros you could get a custom lip size but custom lips only come in widest at 10. however, with an 18x10 you could go as deep as a 6" lip. Im sure they could make you some 18x12s with a huge lip if you wanted.

If you want to do things the right way, order a rearend that is narrowed 2" on both sides and go with a 10" wide wheel with a 5.5" backspacing. Then you can go with wheels with a 1st gen offset, like this:

Can't go that small of a backspace unless you are moving suspension components. The least you can go is ~4 on a 10 inch wheel. Anything else is going to put the wheel too far out of the body.
We have our customers rear-ends shortened when we order them and custom build the wheels and rear-end as a matched setup which works out much better in the end and gives the nicer deep dished appearance many are after.
