I think the main thing behind "Drag" wheels is having the weight/rotating mass not there. It would benifit you some what, depending on what tire you run. IMO its pointless to not get skinnes, they weigh **** for nothing.

The fronts are cheap. I'd just get the whole set if you're going to shell out the $$ anyways.

Are you looking to use these just for track use or everyday use? If you were gonna use them at the track i would say just having the backs with a slick wouldnt be a bad idea, but for everyday it would look kind of dumb. Especially if there was just a street tire on them. I would get the skinnies up front either way. Track or street you cant beat them for the money.

If you like the look of the prostars why dont you just get an 8 inch rim for the front? I have not seen anybody do that but I dont see why it wouldnt work. Then you could still take a turn or 2.

What are the "normal" sizes everyone gets when they purchase a set of prostars? I love the way they look but don't know what sizes everyone runs. How tough is it to make them fit? Also, where's the cheapest place to buy them? Sorry to hijack the thread! BTW someone PM me if the cheapest place isn't a sponsor (no ebay adds tho!). Thanks

Sizes are 15x3.5 and either 15x8 with 5.5" bs or 15x10 with 7.5" bs. You'll have to run a 5/16 spacer on the front, or grind the capipers some, and the rear calipers will require grinding to fit regardless.

You can't fit a 15x8 on the front. The caliper's too big.
