Hey super_fro, I see you are from SS Marie. I was searchin' the web trying to find other drag racers in the area and found your post. I think Ive seen your car sitting on Ashman by the Tattoo joint, is that yours? I was starting to think I was the only one in the UP who had drag racing in the blood! I moved to Detour two years ago and have only been to the track once since I've been here. I did go the St Igance and the Sault car shows. Are there others around? I would be cool to have some other car guys to kick it with on the weekends! I have a 91 LX sedan with Vortech YS trim, its pretty much a strip only car but does see some street miles. Unfortunatly its all in pieces right now but I hope to have it back together about mid-summer. Or at least by St Ignace.
I have been wanting to find out also if anyone knows about the proposed drag strip at Runway Park in SSM, ON? Its on they're web site as a future addition but dosent say much more than that.

No, mine is the in the 1st post.

Detour huh?? Thats where my mother's side of the family is from. Its pretty lame around here as far as ANY cool cars go. I raced at US131 last year and plan on going again when my convertor goes in. When you get your car running you'll have to take me for a ride. My car is the fastest car I have ever been in.

The color on the LT1 style cars was called Medium Patriot Red Metallic. I used to have a 94 Z28 vert in that color.
