You'll just collect a lot of dirt/grime on your wheels which will make it that much harder to clean next time.

well the get really dirty in two weeks because of the amount of driving that I do and because of the hawk pads. the tire shine that I have is water proof...so it stays for a while..so i figured it would not let the brake dust adhere to the wheel...just a thought.

I use Klasse AIO on my chome rims.. works pretty well if you wash them weekly. Just dont use a harsh wheel cleaner as it well take the AIO off.

I do that sometimes on my painted wheels to give them a nice sheen. Like Krab stated before it does collect and hold crud over a period of time.

Mothers Chrome polish then when there's some grime take a cloth and wipe.

Tire shine is forumlated for the tires and while its probably "safe" to put on your rim, its not really ment to sit on the rim and ahere like it is for the tires.

There's better things out there

Yup, I used that when I had my ZO6's. Worked like a charm.
