GM did that for the CETA '02 TA's.

Although I think they used the pre-'02 style wheels for it though.

What if their chrome? What would you do to prep chrome wheels for paint? Because if you sand them won't they rust?

I'd kinda like to know this as well. You probably can't buy those CETA wheels anywhere is my guess.

I would like tp paint mine, however, once I do, I had better have made the right decision. My current rims are STOCK 16 inch ( yes 16 ) 5 spoke wheels. I really like having the 16 inch rims too, and I dont really want to mess them up..

Perhaps a photoshop is in order.

Yes If U Have Chrome Wheelsu Would Have To Sand Them In Order To Primer Them And Then Paint Them.....but I Recommend U Paint Them With An Actual Paint Gun....not Spray Can Cause They Will Look Like ***.....a Buddy Can Powdercoat Them Here In Laredo For 80 Bucks A Wheel

Lemme Know...he Does Good Work

you think you can find WS6 wheels brand new for less, which are not Replica Crap?

I mean if they were used 1600 sounds like way too much, but 400 dollars/wheel seems inexpensive in comparsion to 600-1000/wheel iForged, CCW, Fikse, HRE, etc.....

of course you can buy replica WS6s and reconditioned ones for less than 400, closer to 250-300/ wheel, and used of course for even less....

I got my 2000 17x9 WS6 polished wheels from GM for $279/ea (brand new, not reconditioned) after someone hit the side of my other car.

To compare stock wheels to CCW or Fiske or whatever is silly. Compare stock to stock, not stock to high end replacement.

What stealership sold you WS6 wheels for 280/ wheel? Cause I was being told between 500-750 to replacement a chrome 16" T/A wheel after bending one

The MSRP is clearly 619.72 for the CETA wheels, I have yet to talk to any local dealership in Dallas that would go below MSRP on parts

420 from the dealership in PA, is nearly a third off

if it was done through an insurance claim, you mostly probably got a reconditioned wheel

I know when I had a spindle brake on my 95 T/A, it broke my driver's side front wheel, the insurance claim had the sparkle silver 16" five star listed as 420 paid for, because I would not settle the claim if they attempted to give me a reconditioned wheel. I told them to leave me in the rental.

in fact, this site lists the reconditioned WS6 wheel with core for 285

hey instead of painting it you should have it powder coated which is way better, more durable against heat.

I don't recall where I got em, it was 1.5 - 2 years ago.......point is I am not going to sit here and argue with you about something so ridiculous. I merely said that I would not pay over $1600 for a set of stock wheels. And for the record, mine are NOT reconditioned. Brand spanking new!!!!!!!!

I would have to see a photoshop of them on an NBM car (what is listed in your sig), but off the top of my head I would not pick either of those colors........just my opinion. Your car, do whatcha like.
