im pretty much set on getting 18's for the Z, 9.5 up front, 10.5 out back. i cant make my mind up on which wheel to go with though. vote and let me see ya'lls opinions.

Well first off decide if you want your car to have rims like everyother LS1 car out there on the road. Or, if you want your car to be able to stand out in a crowd? Motorsports ZO6 rims are nice and so are alot of other rims out there. I had the extra cash when I purchased my rims so I went with something I liked that I didn't see every where I looked. I purchased 18" Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's. I love them. The rears are 18x10 and have 315 Rubber on them and wow, do they hook. The only thing is if your going to go big, like I did, you'll need to purchase an aftermarket panhard bar to keep your tires from rubbing and your axle centered under the car. If not you'll feel like your driving on a sheet of glass.

Do you have a link to the chrome CCW knock offs on ebay. I wouldn't be able to decide until I see those but for now it is the black TT2s.

i voted for the black z06's cuz thats what i rock on my silver z, with the black halos, but if interested, i have a set of polished aluminum z06's 2- 17x8.5, 2- 18x10.5, with some rash on 'em for reasonable price, pm me if interested

No chrome, chrome was cool back in the 90's

Stick with black or a low shine silver. Flashy chrome doesn't look right on a silver car(just my opinion)

I think black would fit nicely, but I'd also try to add some other black accents on the car. It's much easier on a TA where you can just add black blackbird stripes, then black decals to cover the trans am lettering and call it a day, but you can find black goodies for a Z28 too. I would consider blacked out tail lights and black wheels, that would work nicely IMO.

If you get the black z06 motorsports, your car will almost be identical to mine, minus the t-tops. I just put black halos on mine.

i added some black halos to mine a couple months ago, and will put a black hockey stripe and black berger panel on the car in the near future, so im gonna order the 18 in black z06 motorsports....thanks for the opinions guys.

Chrome/Polished wheels look awesome on silver. Painted wheels will always come in and go out of style as time passes.

As far as I know, but correct me if I'm wrong but you can't purchase the Profil's in silver anymore. Only in black and gunmetal! Sucks big time b/c I was sold on them until I found out they don't sell them anymore!!!!
