Pretty sure its coming off. Previous owner seems to have not takin care of these at all. Only got it about 2-3 months ago too. The inside of the rim is pretty effin dirty, thats only the front passanger wheel tho everything elses' outter appearance is fine.

i recently got mine as well...and it also looks like the previous owner didnt take care of them either...they looked almost brown when i got em...i scrubbed every nook and cranny with steel wool and they look sooo good now...it cleaned them very well...however there were a few spots that no matter how hard i rubbed wouldnt come off...im going to try and polish them tomorrow and see whath happens

Have Em Sandblasted And Paint Them The Color Of Your Choice. The Chrome Is Junk. But Dont Toss Em, They Dont Make Those Anymore.

Try some simichrome polish on those... or if you can't find that, go to lowe's or advance auto and pick up some Noxon 7-metal polish and try that... I bet it comes right off

I was gonna say that or possibly brake fluid, had that happen on one of my trucks once.
