Default lug nuts-.505 knurl stud on a .509 lug workie?

What it says. I found the right length stud but, I could only get a .505 from moser (12mm x 1.5). The lug nuts are closed end McGard's 12 x 1.5. Will they work safe together?

thanks

Nope. I took the arp .509 studs and machined them to length at my work on a lathe. The difference was to risky for me, I gotta sleep at night

I hate to be an ***, and get off topic here.

But are you still running the iForged wheels?

I'm looking to have Vince make some new rear wheels for my car. Want to step up to 1/2" studs when I get my 9". Wanted to see how much he charged, what the deal was, etc.

Back on track, that's such a small difference... I have NO experience though, so I'm not going to tell you for sure. I've got a buddy that runs a Metric hardware store (BIG). He'll be able to tell me for sure tomorrow if you don't have an answer.

The car is under the knife right now with minitub, rear and I pulled the motor lol. I still have exact size studs as stock but, arp's. I am planning a 1/2" stud though. I have 1/2" studs I'll soon find out!

a .505 stud on a .509 nut had to much wiggle for my safety standards. I'm really **** about little stuff like that though and I went with .509 because I already had these expensive Mcgard lugs.
