Choices of 17 x 11 wheels
Ok first off, don't tell me about the Vette rims. Know about those.
I am looking for some satin finished or gunmetal with machined lip rims. 17 x 11 and 17 x 9. I have seen some pretty bad *** rims like that but they aren't any bigger than 17 x 9. And it also seems that all the good lookin rims, G2 World Challenge, etc, aren't amde any more. DAMN
Give me some choices here. Oh with pics if possible. Or links.

wut about the torque thrusts II's? those rims look like sex on f bodies... they have 17x10.5 and 17x9's i think... Slap on some DR's and its time. But if you're lookin for more show, then CCW is the way to go. Im gettin a set of CCW's for show and the Torque thrusts for racing.

This will actually be for the wifes car. It will be more show than go now. She has gotten out of the GO phase. Actually having her motor rebuilt right now with bigger cam, bigger stall yada yada. Doin that just for the 'bigger bite than bark effect'. Taking the slicks/skinnies off, lowering it and puttin pimpin wheels on it for her. Its a cayanne red metallic car. Want more of the satin style rims rather than the chrome or polished look.

why would you want tt2's for 'racing'? they're some of the heaviest wheels for these cars.
and werd to the 2600 towards go-fast ****...thats why i'll just get the wheels after the heads/cam

the tt2 comment was in reference to birdman's post...the original poster said nothing about using tt2's for "racing"

I saw some rims of a firehawk that were great. I think they were the TT2's But the spokes were gunmetal grey and the lips were polished or chrome. I love how they look but seems as if they were a special run type of item and they no longer have them. But I suppose that you could get the TT2's and just have the spokes and centers painted gunmetal. I just got ride of my Smoothie II's I loved them but decided speed over looks.
