Default 10 spokes on an LT1

is there anything i have to do to make them fit in the hubs? ive heard of having to grind down the center caps on the axles a few hundreths ot tenths. but is that really necessary?

Yes it is necessary, the rear axle hubs are bigger for some reason . . .

Fronts are fine you just have to trim up the rears a little bit.

I use a metal file for that as well. It doesnt take much to get them to go on. Go ahead and do all 4. it will make it easier when you rotate your tires. etc.

DO NOT MESS WITH THE HUB.

take off the center cap of the wheel. There should be small lip that is preventing the wheel from going on. It takes only a couple minutes with a metal file. if you have any questions just reply, i'll be on tech for a while.

i feel like an *** and a half

i was sitting there grinding rust off the hub breathing in metal flakes and rust for nothing lol

i was even thinking about using the drill with the sand paper files to the lip on the rim.

about how much do i have to take off? until its flush or until i feel some play in the rim?
