cant really compare a street tire to a m/t drag radial, much less a sumitomo which does not even compare to most street tires

I guess in 5,000 miles when my brand new 315/17 BFG DR's wear out I will be getting the 315/17 MT DR's.

What is a good wheel to put these on? Will they fit on stock 17X9?

correct sir, in order to get the maximum adevertised foot print youd want something that wide, if your gonna stay with a 17x9 just get a 275/40/17 MT DR those have been out for some time
