Default Best non Drag Radial tire.

I own a 1998 T/A that is on stock 16" chrome rims. the tires on it are bald and as soon as it gets out of storage my parents are fitting it with tires for me. There is one problem my parents want tires that are MADE IN AMERICA. i was hoping that someone on here would know of a good quality low road noise tire that will work well on the car and is MADE IN AMERICA. sorry for the caps its just the most important aspect to my parents and i don't want to buy some cheap shitty tire because of this so if anyone knows of a good brand or tire in specific please let me know.

all help is greatly appreciated.

They still make the KDs in 245/50 16?? BFG's parent company is French (Michelin), if that makes any difference to your parents, although I think they are still manufactured here. I commend them for at least trying to support an American company (it ain't easy nowadays).

The Eagle F1 D3 is one of the best tires in that size, it is most definitely made by an AMERICAN company (Goodyear), I'm just not sure where it is actually manufactured. Call Tire Rack, they would be able to tell you with all certainty.

GS-D3's are made in Lincoln, Nebraska by Goodyear. I know b/c I order my tires from the factory there.

I say BFG KD or KDW as well. They are pricey.
