Default Ruff Racing 278 offsets

I'm looking into buying these in the next week or so, one ebay seller has a 35mm and 40mm offset he's selling and another has a 35mm and a 45mm offset he's selling. Is 5mm that much of a difference? I tried comparing the pics and they didn't look different at all, I read the sticky and that didn't help me either. Thanks for any help.

35 mmm IMHO will not fit well . . . assuming a 9" or 9.5" width. 40 and 45 mm are doable.

Someone on this forum used the 35mm though and he said he had no problems.

They are 18x8.5 35mm in the front and 18x9.5 45mm in the back. Maybe that will help.
Or he offers the same in 35mm for the front and 40mm for the back.

I ordered my Ruffs on ebay and paid my money and a month later they sent the wrong offset. They are out of stock but still run them on ebay. Call first to see if they are really in stock.

That will be fine. Offsets are pretty useless without the rim width.

I have a 18x9.5 with a 45mm offset on the front and the spokes were against the brake caliper. Get 35mm for the fronts.
