Default 18x12 rims

anyone know that when using a 18x12 z06 rim you need a wheel spacer? if so then let me know what size spacer i need.

you will have to do a lot of work to make those fit, I'm not sure how much but I had some 10" c6 wheels and they needed a spacer, yours are 2" wider than that.

it really depends on the offset of the rim, and i forget what offset those 18x12's are.

i think i saw someone once say they are +64 but not for sure.

if it is +64mm, you definately wouldnt use any spacers. At 64mm you will already need to roll the fenders. And to make them fit, youll proabbly need to do A LOT of BFH with a 335-30-18 (which would be the perfect size tire for that rim)

from my experience, you will not need a spacer. (Unfortunately I can't remember what offset I had...) I had these on my 02 SS for about a week. I had to roll the fender , grind the bumpstop down, and use A LOT of the BFH....goodluck and make sure to post up pics when you are done.

hey guys thanks for all the replys. i already knew about the rolling of the fender. does anyone have pics of the 18x12 rims on the car and the rolled fenders that i can see? if so post um up or email to glowstickkid911@aol.com. whats bfh?also i want everyones opinion here. argent grey or chrome with my quasar blue car and red grand sport stripe. im leaning twords the gray because im not trying to stand out i think my 5" cowl induction does enough haha but let me know your thoughts.

I've got my set up for sale; 18x11 chrome z06 fronts w/285 tires (bolt on no mods nec.) and 18x12 chrome z06 rear w/335 tires (bolt on slight mods)
