Default BFG G-Force T/A KDW

I just got a killer deal on a set of 4 brand new BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires. The rears tires I have on now are pretty much shot. The fronts are 'ok' so I'll save them for spares. All together with shipping the set of 4 was only $335 shipped to my door. These normally run about $650-700 a set without shipping! I can't wait till they get here. They are only P245/50ZR16 size, but I've only got stock rims and don't have the cash right now for a whole new set of wheels. I think this was a killer deal! Let me know what you think. Can't wait to finally have traction!

I think you really lucked out. There's nothing like a new set of tires, especially when they're like the ones you picked up...

I had 245/50-16's on my IROC and I've got 275/40-17 BFG KDWs on my Z28. I dig 'em. They've got good dry traction, handle great in the rain and are awesome in corners.

I got them on eBay . I would check every couple of days for various tires that you want and hopefully you'll get a great deal like I did. Just hope it ends at a weird time like 10:30am on a Thursday . I've only been looking for a few weeks and happened to stumble on this deal. I would make sure they are new though and that the pictures confirm it. Good luck in your search.

Well here's an update. I just checked my paypal account and the guy that sold me the wheels sent me back $40. This is unheard of. The shipping must have been less so he sent me back the remainder. I got a brand new set of BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires for only $290/shipped! That's only $72.50 a tire! Hell yeah!

i had these tires on my SS. I HATED them. yes they were a descent all around tire, but for the rear they would get loose at any sign of throttle. as for grooves in the road, HANG on. those ******* track like you wouldnt believe. after a few near misses with the ditch i took them off and replaced them with eagle f1`s, no more tracking. nittos went on the rear. goodluck

Well I actually daily drive my car so if I get stuck in the rain with Nittos or other drag radials it would suck *****, especially on the highway . I'm looking into ET Streets for the strip ! The KDW are a great dry tire and also great wet tire too ! They have a stiffer sidewall so they may not be as quick in a straight line, but are excellent for cornering . I didn't want to pay for $200+ tires like GS-D3's anyways ! $310 for 4 BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires shipped, mounted, and balanced is a damn steal for a great performance tire !

Thats a great deal, I payed about $800 for all 4 of mine (mount, balance, ect...) in December. Ive got 275/40/17s though. I like them alot better than my Eagle F1s, they also hook better (for me). They do however track in groves of the road but not bad. Only place I really have a problem with it swaying is driving over a draw bridge where if you were laying on the ground looking strait down the lane it would look like MMMMMMMMMM. But that can proboly be expected with a bridge like that.

My 285/40/17's KDW's do really well.... If I punch it from about a 30 roll they will spin for about 5 feet and then go......................I got them from Discount Tire Direct for 500 shipped last year

Well they arrived! Checked the tread with a gauge and it indeed is at 10/32" which is the same as brand new ones so they are indeed brand new. Finally traction !

Those tires are the BFGoodrich KDs.. not the KDWs, these tires are a little more dry handling specific i do believe, you can check their website though. http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/catal...ts-car/11.html the KDWs have a much different tread pattern, but from what i hear both are great. I can help take those KDs off your hands if you want some KDWs though
