Default Need DR Suggestions

I plan on going to the track again next month and need a set of tires for my car. I am pushing over 400rwhp with a 3600 stall. All of my other passes were disappointing cause I ran on street tires. My first choice was ET Streets but my concern is hooking and getting a time that will satisfy my ego. Thanks for any input. Oh I will be putting these on the stock 16 inch wheels

Get the ET streets if you have another set of street tires for daily driving. If you are looking for the best all around track and street tire I would get the nitto dr.

nittos are ok on the street, but not at the track. if your looking for drag radials. bfg drag radial is what i use and they hook like a **** street and track, and so does the mickey thompson.

I like the M/T drag radial over the ET street. On the big end the car is more stable compared to being on a ET street which makes the car feel like it's swaying side to side.

edit: so i am clear...are you guys calling these E/T streets or drag radials?

i have always been impressed with E/T streets, seen a car dead hook with them and run 11.1
nittos on the other hand did not hook too well

I have ran both nitto's and bfg's. With a M6 the bfg's were great. Kept blowing the nitto's off. I've heard good things about M/T dr's, but don't know personally.

If you're strictly track with them go Mickey Thompson
