Default New tires

I'm looking into getting Goodyear GSD3 tires. What's the difference between RunOnFlat and the GSD3 EMT? They look the same. Then they just have regular GSD3.

The "Run-Flats" have a much stiffer sidewall that will allow you to drive for 100-200 miles without air, in case you get a flat in some remote area, and you don't have a spare tire.

The "upside"? The safety margin. The "downside"? They ride really rough, are loud, and cost a lot of money. They come as standard equipment on Corvettes, as the 'Vette doesn't have a spare.

Tirerack.com is now $216 for 275/40/17. They were $206 a few months ago. Is this the cheapest place that sells these tires? I looked on google and on bizrate it said tirerack had them for $208. Would they give discounts for LS1tech members?
