If you are shipping wheels with tires mounted on them, it is cheaper to put them in seperate boxes then to ship them bare or shrink wrapped.

Believe it or not, Greyhound does have a shipping office at each one of their stations, but i think the customer goes to whereever the product is going to and pic it up from that location.

Shipping via Freight is going to be more expensive. Ship FedEx or UPS Ground. It will cost you around $90 total.

Yes, $90 to ship wheels with tires mounted in seperate boxes. To ship just wheels would be cheaper.

seems like i always pay $140-$160 to ship wheels. i dunno where you guys are getting off paying $90, unless that's freight and it's that much cheaper....i package my own, shrink wrap, and print out labels and drop them off at UPS Store's or USPS and it's like $40 per wheel...

Shrink Wrap! Bad idea. This is why you pay $40 per wheel. If it's not in a box, the shipper will penalize you with a oversize fee. You need to put them in boxes.

i've done it both ways. i'll either cover the wheel face and backside with cardboard, then shrinkwrap, OR i'll make a custom fit box for each wheel. it always ends up costing about the same...
