Default 17x11 question

I plan to drop my z28 1" and put TT2's 17x9.5 front & 17x11 rear w/315/35/17's in the rear. Will they rub the fender or inside of the wheel well? Do I need spacers?

it will probably run. best to cut out the bump stop, and roll the fenders wells or just beat them in with a mallet. thats the cheapest way

im wondering the same thing. it seems like a majority of people dont have issues being lowered with NITTO 315. but if u go with a different brand then it will. i guess its cuz the nittos run narrower.

My car is lowered on Eibach Sportlines... I run BFG 315 drag radials... one day I was pulling into a driveway and the car twisted a little bit and hit the tire and cut it a little bit...

Just to be safe, roll the fenders...check with your local speed shops, usually they have a roller you can rent and do it yourself or pay them..or maybe a fancy tire shop that sells the big bling bling wheels.

Also...ADJUSTABLE PANHARD BAR! Get the on-car double adjustable one...just a little bit more..but makes adjusting so easy. And whenever I get my car up on a lift...or jacked up high enough..the wheels get caught on the bumpstops..so you might want to pound on them a little bit.

Drive your car for a couple days, then take the wheels off and see if they have been rubbing on the inner wheel wells any..hit those spots with a hammer.

If you're not lowering your car, I think you'll be ok without it...but highly recommended.

Don't remove the bumpstops.

My LT1 is lowered almost two inches with a Pro Kit. They only thing I did was clearance the inner fender on both sides and roll the lips on the quarters. My Sumitomos don't rub anywhere now
