1800 HP Late Model Racecraft Camaro Explodes Tires At 200 MPH On The Dyno: Video Inside

This is what happens when you have an 1800 whp Camaro and you bust 200 mph on the dyno with drag radials: KABOOM! Apparently Late Model Racecraft was testing for an event some time ago when this happened.

It’s been said that drag slicks and certain drag radials aren’t dyno friendly, especially at high speed, but we haven’t seen too many failures–maybe that’s because most cars aren’t approaching 2000 hp and 200 mph on the dyno! Interestingly enough, this same car would later see a high-speed blow-out at an event where the driver managed to save it. In the end though, sadly, the car was totaled at another land-speed event. It truly was a legendary F-Body.
