Twin-turbos, nitrous, meth injection… There is a lot going on here. It’s enough to make this Corvette quick enough to snag nines. While that might not be particularly interesting, the fact that he’s doing it on a stock bottom end is. Good on ’em. He must have a good tune to keep from blowing it up.
I never imagined I’d be using the word “majestic” to describe a truck doing a burnout… And yet, that’s exactly why this caught my attention. You don’t get the huge clouds of white smoke when it’s windy out, but it still looks pretty cool. The smoke rolling of the tires makes the truck look like […] More »
Lincoln may be a shell of it’s former self now, considering they don’t sell a single rear wheel drive in their lineup, but some of their older models are still viable candidates for the told LSX switcheroo. This black LS is good example of what Ford should’ve done with their mid-size cars. I mean, obviously they […] More »
The crazy part is that this is for the base model Corvette. According to GM, the latest iteration of the LS will make nearly as much torque as the current Z06 while dropping .8 liters of displacement. The engine is still fairly large at 6.2 liters, but it also makes over 300lb-ft of torque at 1,000 rpm. […] More »
This was a really good race. You might not imagine that’s the case considering the Gallardo has such a wide power advantage over the Corvette. It turns out that while power is important, it certainly isn’t everything. Especially when it comes to races like they have at the Texas Invitational. Who comes out on top? […] More »
Short, but sweet. Just like a good burnout video should be. It doesn’t hurt that they used a real camera with some amazing sound. It just sounds like a royally pissed off little sports car with a big engine. A loud video is a good one when it comes to this kind of things. I […] More »
I’d say over a thousand horsepower puts you in a good position to run away from just about anything on the road. Now, if you’re running a twin turbo setup, or lots of nitrous, that’s something that you can get to fairly easily… If you have the money. Making 1000hp on a relatively small engine […] More »
